I was so sorry to hear about your Dad. Although it's been some twenty years I still remember all the camping gear and canoes he always had on hand.

Hello Jim,

I don't know if you remember me but my maiden name was Beth Troupe'. I went to school with Joanne and we were very good friends and graduated the same year. I lost touch with Joanne a few years after high school and after 2 years at Univ. of WI- Eau Claire, I moved back to Oregon. I was searching for information about the Crandon shootings this evening and for some reason I ended up at this website in memory of your Dad. I realize it was nearly four years ago but I am sorry for your loss. I have very fond memories of camping with Joanne and your Dad. I think we camped (really primitive!) on the Wolf River (or lake?) Anyway, I was very sorry to hear of his passing. I live in Colorado Springs, CO now with my husband and two kids. I often think of Joanne and wonder where she is what she has been up to. We briefly were in contact after she had her two kids. I know it has been a while but looking at your pictures at your Dad's website and hearing about the tragedy in the shootings in Crandon have brought back a lot of memories. If you would, let Joanne know I have contacted you and see if she would drop me a line.
